Description
Many, many years ago, the southeast corner of Golf & Mt. Prospect Road had a great fruit stand. The children would walk up there for milk or fresh fruit and it was like having a farmer's market in our neighborhood, every day. I still miss that little place. Across the street on the northeast corner, a new Mariano's Grocery is being built - it won't be the same, but it will be good to have in the neighborhood!
