Image includes: Northwest Highway/Miner Street, extending diagonally from left to right edge of photo, portions of residential areas of Des Plaines Manor subdivision (center-left), Graceland Avenue, Lee Street, and Center Street, First National Bank building (lower right), Masonic Temple building (lower right), and other nearby commercial buildings, including the original Village Hall (lower right), which stood at the corner of Ellinwood and Lee streets (demolished in 1937); First Congregational Church (lower left), Immanuel Lutheran School (lower left), Lord & Burnham company buildings are visible at center left; the large flat-roofed building(s) near center of photo may be the former pickle factory, which later became the site of the DoAll company, open land, fields are visible across top of photo. Roads visible in background include: Rand Road and Golf Road.
