View of Des Plaines Manor park from the bridge over Weller Creek, with playground in the background. The bridge, installed July 2021, connects Cumberland Terrace and Des Plaines Manor Park. In the years prior to the bridge installation, children would opt to to use the railroad bridge, or climb down into the creek and cross on rocks to get to the adjoining park.
